CROWN BEVERAGES
HSC Technik was contracted on a design-and-build basis to deliver a fully automated 80 m³/hour water treatment plant for Crown Beverages Ltd in Kajjansi.
The objective was to establish a reliable and scalable on-site water treatment system capable of supporting uninterrupted industrial production while ensuring compliance with internal water quality requirements.
The project scope included full engineering design, system integration, installation, and commissioning of a complete industrial water treatment facility.
Engineering Challenge
The client faced increasing operational risk due to instability in municipal water supply within the NWSC Entebbe service area, creating potential production interruptions.
Additionally, the raw water source presented critical treatment challenges, including:
- Low pH levels requiring controlled chemical correction
- Elevated iron concentrations affecting water quality for industrial use
- Requirement for continuous treatment at 80 m³/hour capacity
- Need for full automation to reduce operational dependency and ensure consistent system performance
The solution required a robust and precisely engineered system capable of maintaining stable, compliant water quality under continuous industrial demand.
